What are App Bundles? What is it for?

The concept App Bundles was created by Google itself and the goal is the efficient installation of apps. In practice, for each app you want to install, only the necessary modules for the smartphone we are using are installed.

An Android App Bundle is a new upload format that includes all the features and codes compiled from the app, but that has the APK generated and signed by Google Play.

The new Google Play app display model, called Dynamic Delivery, uses the app package to generate and make available APKs optimized for each user’s device configuration so that they download only the code and resources needed to run of the app. In this sense, there is no need to create, sign and manage multiple APKs to offer compatibility with different devices, and users receive smaller and more optimized downloads.

If you often install apps outside of Google Play, try this new app. However, be careful with the malware!
