Tesla Cybertruck: Elon Musk rules out plan to reduce pickup size ...

Presented in November last year, Tesla's Cybertruck has proved to be a very interesting electric car. Your orders prove that and they keep on increasing, even though it hasn't even reached the market.

Of course, this is not yet the final version, with Elon Musk promising some changes. One of them was in its size, which makes it not fit in some garages. Now, and surprisingly, Tesla's strongman has come to reveal that they cannot fulfill this idea.

Cybertruck can't be smaller

Tesla Cybertruck orders have placed this electric car at the top of the American brand. It is, according to its strong man, one of the most successful and most interesting projects, visible in several points, especially in its unique form.

One of the criticisms that it has received is even in its unusually large size and that may limit its use. The complaints point out that it doesn't fit in a garage, but it also has the whole European issue that this volume brings.

Reviewed design with Franz last night. Even 3% smaller is too small. Will be pretty much this size. We’ll probably do a smaller, tight world truck at some point.

Elon Musk revealed this problem in his car

Tesla was expected to make some changes to the final model, smoothing out some well-identified edges. The main one would be a decrease in its size, reducing it to a smaller and more acceptable value for roads.

For that desire seems to have now fallen to the ground, in the words of Elon Musk. In a tweet in response to a question, he clarified that, even if they manage to reduce 3%, it is a value far from the intended and that would be expected by all users.

Tesla may reveal new pickup with reduced dimensions

But the words of the Tesla official brought another novelty that may be important for the future. Elon Musk revealed that they are considering creating a scaled-down version of their pickup in the near future. This would be the smallest version that everyone expected.

Cybertruck's current dimensions will end up limiting its use in many markets, especially in Europe. Still, the main market for this electric pickup is even the USA, where it feels comfortable in most situations.
