Owners of Tesla electric cars will receive a new update in the coming days. So, in addition to several promised novelties, Elon Musk’s company will add the language Portuguese.
The new firmware will include, in addition to the new language, other novelties, such as improvements to the security cameras and reversing camera.
New language in Tesla electric cars
Tesla has released some update notes for the next version of its software. Currently, Teslas are using summer 10.2 (2020.20…) and the next, version 10.2 (2020.24) will bring several new features.
As we can see in the release notes, driving views, images from the car’s surveillance cameras, reversing camera, cabin camera, and other improvements at various technical points in the vehicle will be improved.
In one point, the company states that support for the language Portuguese will be added. Thus, in addition to improvements in the dynamics of components and services, Tesla teaches the car to speak our language. This language update includes voice commands, voice navigation, and MCU graphical interface.
Therefore, if you own a Model S, Model X and Model 3 you will be able to exchange English or any other language for Portuguese through a remotely made software update.
Seems its official. Does not say Beta anymore in release notes. Though traffic lights is still labeled beta. So you all should get the new awesome camera. pic.twitter.com/F4EkvmkLFG
