Dark Mode, or Dark Mode, is one of the options most sought after by users, as it protects our eyes while using services, whether web or applications. This feature has already been successfully implemented in WhatsApp, both for iOS and Android.
However, the desktop version of the messaging service does not yet have this feature officially. But today we teach a simple and quick way to have dark mode on WhatsApp Web.
Many systems and services are adopting the Dark Mode version, such as Facebook, Ubuntu, Google Play, among others. Users are grateful, as they are able to enjoy the platforms more comfortably, especially in low light environments and times, protecting their eyes.
Regarding WhatsApp, this dark mode is available for mobile applications, but for the web version it has not yet arrived, despite some rumors. So today we leave you a simple tip so that you can activate dimming on WhatsApp Web now.
Learn how to put Dark Mode on the Web version of WhatsApp
This is, in fact, a very simple process. Just follow all the steps to get Dark Mode on this messaging platform.
Open the official page of WhatsApp Web and access your account through the QR Code provided in the service application.
Once connected to the web version, in the area outside the chat, click the right mouse button and choose the option 'inspect element'.
Then, in the first box, scroll up to the beginning and search for the following string: ‘body class =” web ”‘.
You should edit that section and add the word ‘Dark’ in front of ‘Web’. In other words, it will be ‘body class =” web dark ”‘.
Finally, just hit Enter and that's it. Dark Mode has been successfully activated in the web version of your WhatsApp account.
As you can see, it is quite simple to have this feature also in the Desktop mode of WhatsApp. If you use this service on a recurring basis, particularly in dimly lit environments, then you can now give your vision an extra discount.
